CSH OPENS FIRST OUTPATIENT CENTER IN MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ

THIS NEW OUTPATIENT CENTER IS THE SECOND OF FOUR NEW STATE-OF-THE-ART FACILITIES MADE POSSIBLE BY CSH FOUNDATION TRANSFORMING LIVES 2.0 CAPITAL CAMPAIGN

Children’s Specialized Hospital (CSH) Foundation celebrates an important milestone in the Transforming Lives 2.0 capital campaign as the doors of its newest outpatient center located in Eatontown, NJ were opened to patients. The state-of-the-art facility is the first CSH location in Monmouth County and enhances access to the expert care at CSH for local children and families.

As the gold standard of outpatient pediatric rehabilitation services, the Monmouth County outpatient center offers the latest technology and a full suite of therapy and physician services, including Audiology, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Psychology, Speech & Language Therapy, and Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. Additionally, they will begin offering Physiatry services this fall.

“The opening of this outpatient facility in Monmouth County reinforces our commitment to improving the quality of care for children with special healthcare needs across New Jersey. At CSH, we recognize the rising incidence of special healthcare needs in children. This facility offers a comprehensive range of services focused on their unique needs and will provide children and families in the region a supportive environment to receive expert, family-centered care,” said Matthew B. McDonald III, MD, President and Chief Executive Officer of Children’s Specialized Hospital. “Our vision has always been a world where all children can reach their full potential – the development of this site is another step towards making that vision a reality.”

The opening of this new outpatient center is also an important milestone in the CSH Foundation’s $45 million Transforming Lives 2.0 capital campaign as it is the second of four new outpatient centers brought to fruition by the generosity of donors. As part of this effort, recently retired Major League Baseball All-Star and Toms River resident, Todd Frazier, and his wife, Jackie, have signed on as honorary co-chairs of this campaign. Todd and Jackie are working alongside members of the CSH Foundation Board of Trustees and capital campaign co-chairs, Mark Montenero, President of Autoland Toyota, Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, and RAM Trucks, and Ed McKenna, Senior Partner at McKenna, Dupont, Stone & Washburne and former Mayor of Red Bank, to secure the funds needed to ensure all children have access to CSH’s innovative programs and services.

“As a resident of Monmouth County, I am thrilled about the opening of this new facility and the impact it will have for children in Eatontown and surrounding areas,” said McKenna. “Every time I walk into a Children’s Specialized Hospital facility, I see miracles – and now I will be able to see them happening for children in my own community.”

The CSH Monmouth County outpatient center is located in the Anne Vogel Family Care and Wellness Center at 200 Wyckoff Road in Eatontown. This center also offers services provided by Monmouth Medical Center and the combined medical group of RWJBarnabas Health and Rutgers Health. Located adjacent to Boscov's department store at the Monmouth Mall, the center provides the region with convenient access to comprehensive women’s services, pediatric specialty services, wellness education and nutrition resources, specialty surgical services, a blood drawing station and an Urgent Care Center.

“Being part of the RWJBarnabas Health Children’s Health Network and the Anne Vogel Family Care and Wellness Center not only allows us to enhance availability to our specialized services for children and families that need us but also provides local families with access to a variety of medical services for their entire family in one convenient location,” added Dr. McDonald.
