We are honored that you have chosen to make a donation to Children’s Specialized Hospital Foundation in memory of Sylvestro Montenero. Mark, Arlene and the Montenero family have been long-time supporters and friends and have become part of our extended family at Children’s Specialized.
Sylvestro was an extraordinary man and he, along with his wife and lifelong love Susan, were even more extraordinary parents. Blessed with the ability and commitment to helping those less fortunate, the Montenero's inspired their three children, Mark, Suzy and Matthew to lend a hand, talent or financial resource to assist those facing challenges or whom were in need.
During the holidays or significant family events, Sylvestro's request of his children was that rather than buying gifts, he encouraged them to make a contribution that would help others, so they could in some way experience the blessings he knew. So often, he asked them to help organizations serving children.
While Sylvestro has passed from this earth, his legacy of love and generosity will continue through his children, grandchildren and their families and friends.
