Todd Frazier Steps Up to the Plate for CSH

Todd Frazier, local Toms River legend and Major League Baseball All-Star, and his wife, Jackie, have teamed up with Children's Specialized Hospital to help raise $45 million in support of the Transforming Lives 2.0 capital campaign. The Frazier's attended the opening of the new Kenneth Esdale Pavilion Union Outpatient Center in Union Township and spoke from their hearts."It is our honor to help each and every family get through some of the hardest times of their lives," said Frazier. "We care deeply about our community and are hoping that we can help CSH increase access to specialized care to more kids across our amazing state."

CSH Opens New Kenneth Esdale Pavilion in Union, NJ

In the fall of 2021, Children's Specialized Hospital (CSH) opened the first of four new outpatient centers funded by the Transforming Lives 2.0 capital campaign. The Kenneth Esdale Pavilion Union Outpatient Center, a spacious, 66,000 sq ft facility, will increase capacity by more than 15% and allow CSH to serve more children living with special healthcare needs. Leaders from CSH and its Foundation, elected officials, and community leaders including Todd and Jackie Frazier, gathered to celebrate the opening of the new outpatient center on November 20, 2021 with a ceremonial ribbon cutting. CSH Foundation leadership announced a fundraising goal of $45 million to fund the major initiatives in the hospital's strategic plan including the opening of four new outpatient centers and critical research studies.

Renovations Begin on Original Hospital in Mountainside

CSH is now in its third century of caring for children and the very roots of our hospital system sprouted on New Providence Road in Mountainside, NJ. When complete the renovations to this historic facility will allow us to care for more children who are living with complex medical conditions and need long-term compassionate care. Members of hospital and foundation leadership, the foundation board of trustees, Transforming Lives. 2.0 capital campaign cabinet, and the Westfield Foundation joined in a ceremonial wall-breaking to celebrate this latest milestone in a series of new construction and renovation projects that will design the next generation of pediatric care at CSH.
