CSH Opens New Kenneth Esdale Pavilion in Union, NJ
In the fall of 2021, Children's Specialized Hospital (CSH) opened the first of four new outpatient centers funded by the Transforming Lives 2.0 capital campaign. The Kenneth Esdale Pavilion Union Outpatient Center, a spacious, 66,000 sq ft facility, will increase capacity by more than 15% and allow CSH to serve more children living with special healthcare needs. Leaders from CSH and its Foundation, elected officials, and community leaders including Todd and Jackie Frazier, gathered to celebrate the opening of the new outpatient center on November 20, 2021 with a ceremonial ribbon cutting. CSH Foundation leadership announced a fundraising goal of $45 million to fund the major initiatives in the hospital's strategic plan including the opening of four new outpatient centers and critical research studies.
