Our vision is a world where all children can reach their full potential, and to make that vision a reality we’re always looking forward and anticipating the healthcare needs and challenges that lie ahead.

Among the highest of our priorities, is addressing the fast-growing demand for special needs pediatrics and responding to it by designing a future in which we can ensure that all children have access to the care they need. The Transforming Lives 2.0 capital campaign is doing just that.

Currently, Children’s Specialized Hospital cares for more than 35,000 children with special healthcare needs annually. The infrastructure expansion this campaign is funding will allow us to increase our capacity by over 40% and provide care to thousands more children in New Jersey.

We will open four new outpatient centers by the end of this campaign, two of which have opened their doors in the past year and two that are under construction now. Our original hospital in Mountainside us undergoing much needed renovations and technological upgrades that will greatly enhance the quality of life for our most medically fragile children.

While these expansion projects will help more children today, this campaign is also funding vital research projects that will create breakthroughs in treatments to help an infinite amount of children in the future.
